Author Profile of Vannessa McCamley
During a successful career in which I held senior management positions with multi-national companies, I witnessed the myriad professional and personal challenges faced by executives, employees and entrepreneurs.
Believing there had to be a more purposeful, less stressful way to live, I studied what neuroscience revealed about the human brain and how this translates to our behaviour and impacts our ability to achieve goals.
Today, I help individuals and organisations to understand how neuroscience can improve leadership, self-leadership, resilience and peak mental performance in the workplace.

I used to think my core behaviour was locked in. Genes will win out in the end.
This book and following these steps have proven to me we can change (I can change), our brain can grow new pathways, we can evolve who we are and what we achieve.
If you value your intelligence and know you can achieve more, please read REWIRE for SUCCESS.
If you are too busy with “back to back” meetings (working at home with COVID) you REALLY need to read REWIRE FOR SUCCESS.
REWIRE FOR SUCCESS is a great read to anyone who wants to improve their brain and drive personal growth.

Dear Vannessa,
Congratulations on your bravery and courage to put your passion onto paper and create this wonderful, easy to read and follow guide for both the professional and personal aspects of the way we are wired and how we should think about rewiring our behaviours for success.
Professionally I have enjoyed the easy to implement Pomodoro technique to assist me to focus on my goal and get into the workflow without overloading my brainpower. This technique has helped me to refresh and be a better leader.
In these times not all is smooth sailing and many things are out of our control, the powerful story about choosing to fight life or invite life resonated with me as a mother, wife and friend. This story has encouraged me and in turn my children, husband and community to embrace biting the strawberry instead of fighting what you can not control.
The topic of polarity is so common in today’s society and the polarity management tool provided a clear path and model for me to see all sides of an issue that I grappled with comprehending different perspectives on before using this too, I definitely wiser and more informed after using this model.
Thank you again, Vannessa for creating a simple to use guide for anyone looking to unlock their potential success through neurosciences.

Wonderfully easy to read, this book provides insights for people of all ages, occupations and lifestyles. Included are proven techniques that would otherwise take a lifetime to learn or figure out for yourself have been outlined in this book.
Vannessa has given the reader permission to make one or many changes that are not only actionable but are sustainable for individuals and organisations.
I love the way that Vannessa reiterates the point that while we all have the same brain our life experiences shape who we are and how we react. Learning to know yourself better is the ultimate key to understanding where you are today and where you would like to be in the future.
For business leaders, there are so many keys to understanding yourself and your team. To not be so harsh in your assessment of others and learn how to behave in a more inclusive way.
Personally, thank you Vannessa for having the courage to share your story and to share ways that others can also take the time to notice and to take that strawberry.

I love how Rewire for Success has brought together the science aspect of why we think in a certain way and the F.O.O.D framework to change how we work and live our lives to maximise our potential. This book provides a holistic approach to well-being and professional strategies to capture all aspects of what it takes to live an optimal life and professional career. I used the Polarity management tool to overcome an obstacle at work, it was useful as it gave me clarity of thought to a solution to a problem I was facing. Through changing some habits I have already benefited from the insights shared by Vannessa into how we can change our daily routine to reduce stress and burnout living in a fast-paced digital world. This book is very timely and a must-read through a pandemic.

I am not a huge fan of reading for the most part. I find it time-consuming and prefer audiobooks so I can multi-task whilst listen. In saying that, I’m partway through this book and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
Rewire for Success evaluates something very close to my heart and clearly something very close to Vanessa’s, and that is to, “embrace uncertainty, surrender to possibility, let go of others expectations, and adapt key learnings”. All I have to do is work out how. I want to make changes in my life, so I continued reading.
This book truly has something for everyone. It’s not your average ‘run of the mill’ book where it bombards you with self-help guides with little to no explanation – Vanessa explains and outlines everything very simplistically and provides you with the tools so you can adapt it to any key learning, whether it be for the boardroom, in a negotiation, at the dining room table, on the soccer field or with life in general when it throws you curveballs – delivering you the right ingredients to fuel your brain!!!
I have picked this book up twice since I received my copy and it’s been hard to put down. I always need my highlighter next to me in case I want an easy reference point back to a nice little tip.
The chapter “Organise your daily structure based on when you do your best thinking” so far has been the section I have liked the most. I am presently practising the Pomodoro technique to see if it works for me and my productivity. Being a small business, we are doing more with less, so time is of the essence and if I can train my brain to be the most productive it can be by using a technique like this, it could save my company thousands of dollars a year alone.

What an amazing achievement!! You should be super proud of this book, it brings together so much valuable information in a book that is so easy to digest.
The F.O.O.D framework is such a clever way of bringing your knowledge, insights and personal experiences to life so the reader can identify and resonate with tools and techniques to ensure they rewire their brain for success.
The book talks about providing a buffet of options, you don’t need to pick them all, but you can keep coming back to try something new or try a different approach to see if it helps. One of the key messages that I took from this book is the art of letting go to be the best version of yourself. Letting go of grudges, grievances, judgement, resistance, attachment, the need to be right…let go completely and move into a state of acceptance.
A book that also brings together so many excellent subject matter experts to confirm, reiterate and bring more clarity to each tool and technique that you speak about proves the importance of these recommendations. Their expertise and wealth of experience is a wonderful addition to this book.
I would highly recommend your book to anyone that is trying to achieve a state of wellbeing and happiness.
Congratulations!
