Recently I heard a statistic from a book expert that approximately 0.3% of people who want to write a book finish and publish it; that astonishes me. Writing a book does take a lot of dedication, energy and effort. To achieve it, you need to be clear on your WHY/ purpose and the desired outcomes you want at the top of your mind throughout the journey to overcome the obstacles and self-doubt that you encounter.

I had a burning desire to write a book for years, to leave a legacy of my knowledge and lessons learnt to make a difference in the lives of others. When the covid pandemic impacted my business, I decided writing a book was an opportunity to create an easy guide for using neuroscience to improve choices for work, life and well-being. I wanted to make neuroscience accessible and easy to understand, digest and apply the steps.

My book’s why is to improve the lives, productivity and performance of others while impacting their health and well-being. Work/life balance had been a challenge for me for many years until I went back to study the neuroscience of leadership to understand how our biggest asset…our brains operate and how to leverage neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to change itself – creating new neural connections/ pathways within the brain – a game-changer.

The desired outcomes were to help people change their life for the better, and when I received all the fantastic reviews, I knew that all the obstacles I faced along the journey were worth it. Reviews like this one mean a lot;
